Three ways to keep your nails strong and healthy this season
Each one of us dreams of maintaining all-year-long, flawlessly manicured nails, but that comes with a price if we do not take some time to take care of our nails. Here are some tips from our nail experts to take better care of your hands and nails all year long:
Nail Health over length: Always prioritize nail health over the length, not the other way round, especially if you suffer from hangnails or breakage. If you manage to keep your nails short for a specific time, they’ll grow stronger and faster. So, remember health over length.
Moisturize your cuticles: we always recommend you invest in a good oil cuticle and use it regularly. One of our favorite cuticle oils is the Orly Cuticle Oil Plus. First, it smells lovely because it is formulated with orange blossom and wild cherry extracts to moisturize. After trying it, our technicians noticed that it simultaneously ensures longer and stronger nails. We have another star product that’s our favorite, and we bet you love it too, the one and only Mavala Scientifique nail hardener. And we always use it after applying the Orly oil around the cuticles to protect cuticles and skin around nails; the reason behind that is that we do not want to harden the skin too (Mavala Scientifique nail hardener is that good)! So, applying it to the edge of the nails is enough.
Moisturize your hands: Lastly, always keep your hands moisturized; keep a hand cream with you when you’re on the go. And investing in a fine mask for your hands and feet also adds additional protection for your nails.
